Piedmont, from the latin "pedemontium," means "at the foot of the mountain." Sometimes life can feel like climbing a mountain or fighting an uphill battle without a clear way forward. Wherever you are on your journey, Jonathan would be honored to team up with you to help you meet your goals for growth and change.
Jonathan is a committed helper with several years of experience as a mental health professional in inpatient, nonprofit, and private practice settings as well as a background in teaching and coaching. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with Master's degrees in Christian Counseling (Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary) and History (Joint program at the College of Charleston & The Citadel).
Jonathan is also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator for those seeking pre-marital or marriage counseling who prefer to incorporate this well-established assessment tool in their journey to grow closer together. He primarily counsels couples, adult men, and young adults to help foster insight into difficult challenges, identify clear goals, and implement healthy practices that facilitate healing, growth, and forward movement.
Jonathan enjoys adventures with his wife and daughters, preparing hearty meals for friends, losing track of time in the woods or on just about any body of water, reading books, Braves baseball, college football, and most of all helping others.
